Micro enterprises flourish in Vietnam: We kid you not!

This month, Peter Pilt joined Paul and Deborah Hilton and the team in Vietnam to give families a hand up through micro enterprising.  Giving goats to families is part of the Global Care micro enterprise projects  in Da Nang, Vietnam.  A couple of years ago, some families received goats from Global Care.  This year, Global Care was able to help even more families by giving them goats.  The team went and visited the families who were given goats a couple of years ago, to see their progress.  The results were outstanding as the goats had in fact multiplied in numbers.  Initially, families were given nine goats and through breeding and being able to sell some and buy more, they now had forty.  After the visit the team went to a community facility where ten families were trained on how to look after the goats and then they were given twenty goats.  The excitement on the peoples faces receiving the goats is evident in the photographs of the moments captured!  This program is so effective, we kid you not!  Global Care looks forward to the bright future ahead for families in Vietnam through the power of micro enterprise projects.
